Waiter/kelner Baracca

At Baracca, our vibrant good-vibes-only restaurant, we’ve got big plans and room to grow. That’s why we’re looking for 1 ragazza/ragazzo  in Leuven to support us in the role of:

Waiter

You’re not just comfortable with guests, you also lead people in a positive & forward-looking way. You don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to provide a great, all-round service experience. 

You’ve been around the block: you got skills, by working in similar horeca-related roles. It’s in your blood: you truly come alive when a restaurant runs at full capacity.  

You’re business fluent in Dutch & English. A bit of French helps. And if you really want to impress, so does Italian. This is a very hands-on position, but we highly value creativity, a curious mind, and a drive for continuous improvement. A very healthy sense of humor is exactly what we’re looking for.

Who are you?

In this position you will report to the Floor Manager(s), and your key roles & responsibilities are:

• Organizing the restaurant, setting up tables for our guests
• Guide the guests to their table and make them feel welcome
• Take orders and serve our guests with a smile, explain the concept and menu
• Coach, lead en train the runners to provide an excellent service
• Make sure the communication with the kitchen is running smooth
• Promote and grow the business through, cross- & up-selling
• You work mostly evening shifts, occasionally you assist in lunch service
