Pepe Nero, an Italian comfort food restaurant in Leuven, is looking for a

Waiter

You are passionate about Italian cuisine and hospitality. Creating memorable experiences for guests is what drives you. From a warm welcome to a heartfelt Arrivederci, you make people feel at home. You lead by example and bring respect, trust and professionalism into every interaction with both guests and colleagues.

You like to share your passion with others and believe that great service starts with great teamwork. A restaurant running at full capacity gives you energy. You love to roll up your sleeves, stay organized and help wherever you are needed. You already have some experience and have built your skills in a similar catering role.

You speak fluent English and Dutch. A little French helps, as does a little Italian. For this hands-on position we appreciate creativity, curiosity and a constant drive to do better. A healthy dose of humor also works, of course.

Long story short, people enjoy working with you because you bring out the best in others.

Who are you

In this position you report to the owner and you are responsible for

• Setting up and setting the tables
• Guiding guests to their table
• Taking orders and explaining the concept and the menu
• Ensuring smooth communication with the kitchen
• Supervising students and extras during the shift
• You have a valid EU passport or work permit
• You mainly work evening shifts and occasionally help with lunch service
